Privacy Policy ex art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 Protection code of personal data
The Italian Foundation of Myelodysplastic Syndromes (FISM ONLUS), as the holder of the site www.fismonlus.it, wishes to inform visitors about the ways of managing the site with regard to the processing of personal data. This information describes in accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments , how the site is handled with respect to the personal data of the users who use it.
The policy is only made for the site www.fismonlus.it and not for any sites that may be accessed and consulted by the user through links.
The “Holder” of the treatment
The “holder” of the data processing is the Italian Foundation of Myelodysplastic Syndromes , which is based in Alessandria Piazza Turati, 5 CAP 15121 Alessandria, in the person of the legal representative (Chairman-in-Office).
Place of data processing
The treatments related to the web services of this site take place at the site of the selected provider and are handled only by personnel responsible for processing by FISM.
Purposes
The personal information provided by the Users logged into the FISM Newsletter or Website will be used for related or instrumental purposes for which the data is collected (fundraising activities, sending confidential communications to members, activities required to perform the necessary operations for the use of the website and its related activities such as document consultation or CRF usage) or to provide the required performance.
Communication and dissemination of data
The personal data of the users will not be disseminated but will be communicated to FISM staff who deal with the activities in which data processing takes place and to the responsible for the development and maintenance of the IT tools, in compliance with the law. If the user decide in any way to distribute his personal or sensitive information, FISM can not in any way be held responsible for such imprudent behavior. In any case, data processing will occur in both automated and non-automated ways in compliance with the rules of confidentiality and security provided by law.
Type of data processed:
1 – Navigation data
Some personal data are collected automatically with the use of Internet communication protocols during normal navigation on this site. This category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users to connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses, time and method used to submit requests to the server, and other parameters related to the operating system and the user’s computer system. This data is used anonymously and only for statistical purposes in relation to the use of the site.
2 – Data voluntarily provided by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail to the addresses indicated on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the address of the sender, necessary to answer the requests as well as any other personal data included in the letter. Specific synthesis information will be progressively reported or displayed on site pages tailored for particular services on request.
3 – Cookies
No personal data of users is acquired by the site for profiling or marketing purposes. No cookies are used for the transmission of personal information, nor are persistent cookies of any kind, such as user tracking systems. The use of “session” cookies (which are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and fade when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) needed to enable safe and efficient site browsing. Session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other potentially damaging computer techniques for the privacy of user browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data of the user.
Data Transfer
Apart from what is specified for the navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data FISM Newsletter’s registration forms to the site’s contacts to request the sending of information material or the sending of other communications or requests. If the data will not given, there is no possibility of obtaining what is required.
Treatment Mode
Personal data is handled with automated or non-automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, misuse or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.
Rights of the interested parties
The Subjects to whom personal data are referenced have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of the same data and to know its content and source, to verify its accuracy or to ask for its integration or updating, or rectification or cancellation in accordance with art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. n. 196/2003, writing to FISM at the addresses on the Contacts page of this site.
